Bella Sara Moves Licensing In-House

SEATTLE, WASH. (August 19, 2009)Bella Sara™, a magical world of horses where children can expand their imaginations through play, announces that vice president of international business, licensing and merchandising George Stetar will oversee all global licensing efforts. As the company brings all licensing efforts in-house, Stetar’s nearly 20 years of experience in international sales, licensing, product design and marketing will be a key component in its continued product and brand expansion domestically and globally.

“Managing our licensing efforts in-house gives us the ability to move at greater speed while allowing for better integration with our other initiatives,” said Dell Monson, senior director of marketing for North America at Hidden City Games. “Stetar will not only help us achieve our goal of expanding our brand in the stationery and clothing business, but he will also add more licensing agreements that will share Bella Sara’s inspirational and empowering messages with children across the world.”

Recent licensing agreements in North America of the Bella Sara brand include deals with Waterbury Garment L.L.C for children’s sleepwear and intimate apparel and Jakks Pacific for an assortment of toys for the brand. International agreements include Giochi Preziosi as the pan-European toy partner for Bella Sara and The Cookie Company with European apparel lines.

First introduced to the North American market in 2007 by Hidden City Games, Inc., Bella Sara quickly expanded into an international children’s entertainment property.
