The new Bella Sara Magical Friends set, the sixth release in the best-selling Bella Sara trading card series, introduces more than 70 new horses, each accompanied by a fanciful magical friend. New horses include:
- Lien: Her message is “The most important time in your life is right now.” A gentle being, Lien travels on land in the shape of a horse that is made of water. Children will also engage with Lien’s magical friend, the lotus hedgehog. Some believe that her friendship with the lotus hedgehog has kept her from dissolving completely into a dream.
- Ondine: Her message is “Make every day an adventure!” Ondine makes her home in hidden pools and glades. Her special magic is that she is able to run across water as though it were dry land. Ondine’s friend is the curious bubble turtle. She and her bubble turtle friends use their bubbles to fly.
· Anemone: Her message is “Keep your heart open. Believe in getting and giving love.” Anemone lives in the sky, fluttering among towering cumulus clouds, gliding upon the updrafts from the Whitemantle. Together Anemone and her whiffle bear friends “herd clouds.” Whiffle bears have been known to send rain clouds over farms during dry spells and steer them away from picnics.
New magical friends include:
· Tomtommes: These inquisitive, frisky, mouselike creatures have musical sensibilities. Their tails beat back and forth like metronomes, keeping time. They enjoy making music with their ears, tooting, whistling and piping.
· Steampoppos: These magical friends live in the deepest jungles of the tropical regions of North of North. Every year the steampoppos migrate north. They hold their breaths until they fill up with hot air and float into the sky. Drifting north on the winds, they bring moist warm air to melt the snows and ice of North of North.

Bella Sara Magical Friends includes a total of 123 new cards: 74 regular horse cards (each with a unique magical friend), 37 extra-rare “shiny” horse cards and 12 new friend cards. Each friend card activates an interactive animated creature. Each pack contains 7 cards that can be collected, traded and used to play Bella Sara card games, plus a Magical Friends set checklist card.
